Born as an initiative of Redcliffe Youth Space, Picnic Hill was created to bring people together through shared experiences that feel welcoming, relaxed and uniquely local. At its heart, Picnic Hill is about creating space to gather, to share and to connect in ways that feel meaningful and joyful.
Picnic Hill offers a series of purposeful community events designed to be marked in your calendar and enjoyed together. Whether you’re a picnic pro or a first timer, we invite you to bring your family and friends, your picnic blankets and camp chairs, your smiles and open hearts up to the Hill.
The Heart Behind the Picnic
Redcliffe Area Youth Space, affectionately known as RAYS, has been operating in the Moreton Bay region for more than 20 years.
Through our programs, groups, social enterprises such as Picnic Hill and our education and training pathways we support young people who are facing real world challenges. Young people who need someone steady in their corner.
